When life gives you a lemon.....

I say PAY IT OFF!!!

I purchased this 2004 Nissan Sentra in June of 2006. I remember being so excited about it. I had done the research and learned that the Sentra was a gas saving, reliable car. And I still believe that. Little did I know, I would be getting the Lemon of all Lemons. After having it no more than 2 months the troubles began. I would be driving normally and all of a sudden it would start to slow down and jerk itself over and over right in the middle of traffic. I don't know how I was never hit. Then it would start smoking and then ultimatley out of fear, I would pull over and turn it off. I used to be so afraid to go anywhere!

After about 2 years and about $2,500 later, we finally firgured out the problem: a honey like substance in my engine. What the heck?!?! Now I have another problem. My Check Engine light has been on for almost a year. Took it in, they said my engine is fine, it's just an error in my dash. The problem? I can't pass a smog test until I pay $600 to replace the whole dash because Nissan doesn't sale the 1 part alone. SO STUPID!!!

Anyway, last Tuesday, we paid the dang thing off! Woo-Hoo! I am so happy! Now I need to find a junk yard with the part I need replaced.
