Boo Boo

Ain't it pretty? I did it all by myself... with the help of my garage. Luckily my car sucks!!! It's been a pain in my butt for the past 4 years that I've had it. It deserves a good hit in the face. Ha ha ha! No really, the bumper is made of fiber glass witch is cheaper to fix rather than steel, it wont be fixed for a while though. Also, I'm very glad it didn't brake any of the lights, I don't know how they avoided getting busted and the stucco that I hit wasn't damaged at all either. I would rather the stucco being damaged rather than my car because my Dad owns a plastering company. That would have been a free repair. Oh well.

So after I did this and the sick feelings in my stomach went away, I started thinking of my accidents. Fortunately I have not been in any serious accidents and never want to. Nope, I'll stick to things that don't move. Let me explain.

When I was 15 and had just gotten my driving permit, my brother in law Jon was in our front yard working under his car. He asked me to move the car just a couple inches up. I was so excited that I was going to be behind the wheel. So Jon told me to push the clutch all the way down and move it up a little. I said, "COOL", and Jon got back under the car. WELL........................... It didn't really happen that way. Instead of pushing the clutch all the way down, I pushed the gas... all the way down!!! The truck took off, I took out the 8 foot tall bushes in the front yard and slammed into the house and then the hood of the truck flew into the air. Now, that might be tragic enough for a 15 year old girl, but what about Jon, he was under the truck when I turned on the ignition. He was fine. He had a feeling to get out from under there just seconds before I took off. I cried for hours, it was SO SCARY!!! My parents were even mad, they were so grateful no one was hurt and nothing was really damaged. This incident is also the reason why I will never again drive a stick. Lee has tried, but I just end up having a panic attack and crying my eyes out.

So there you go, I have another story to add to my driving list.
Sorry Honey.

Wow, you did that on stucco? I've hit my garage at least 4 times, but only once did I cause major damage... as in, we had to re-stucco and paint because it totally cracked and crumbled. I've given up trying to keep my car in good shape.
Scary story about the stick shift. I drive a stick and thankfully that hasn't happened to me.
