OH CANADA, MY HOME AND NATIVE LAND. (I think that's how it goes.) As apart of our summer vacation this year, we headed up to Niagara Falls. We stayed in Canada, and I LOVED IT!!! After all, I do have Canadian blood. My Grandpa Owen was from Alberta. Canada is so beautiful and the people, OH... don't get me started, they are SO NICE! They don't look at you like your insane when you ask a question, they don't drive like there's a fire, they are so helpful, and did I mention that their the nicest people? They are! I would totally move to Ontario too!
This is a picture I got of the Canadian Falls and the Maid of the Mist ride and a double rainbow. So pretty. Some dork with a fanny pack came up to Lee at this point and said, "If you take off your sunglasses you can see the rainbows." Lee was like, "Um, I can see them just fine, thanks." Some peoples children, I'm embarrassed for them.
The Maid of the Mist is awesome. We both have been here and done this before, but it is so much more fun with each other. The boat was rocking so much that we almost fell over. We laughed so hard at each other and everyone else around us. I was a little sad we couldn't get this shot in front of the falls, but it was pretty crowded. Oh well!
While Maid of the Misting, we saw this huge butterfly just over our heads. Lee held out his hand and it landed on it. It was so neat! People around him were taking pictures of him holding it. This little guy would not get off either, he wanted to go along for the ride. Lee was gracious to the Butterfly.
The next day, we payed a visit to the American side of the falls. To all who may be thinking of taking a trip to Niagara Falls, let me tell you, STAY ON THE CANADIAN SIDE!!! It is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!! Trust us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cave of the Winds was our next adventure. You actually walk up the side of the American Falls. It's really fun. When I did this with my family about 5 years ago, I had mascara dripping down my face and blinding me. This year, I made sure to wear waterproof.
There's Lee in the Hurricane Zone. He loved it up there!!!
Back to Canada! The Floral Gardens. So worth paying a visit too, plus it's FREE. When you're from the Desert, you don't see much more than rock and cactus. This is a whole new world!
Look at that color!
One word. CHOCOLATE. Apparently there is a Hershey, Canada so they have a store on Clifton Hill. We couldn't make it to Hershey, PA so I was happy to see it here.
Guinness Book of World Records Museum. Lee looks so little. Clifton Hill is full of these fun little museums, shops, attraction rides, restaurants, etc.
Didn't I tell you? We totally fit in with Canada. We are considering using this as this years Christmas card. What do you think??

Wow! What great pics!! Looks like you had a fantabulous time... I am so jealous! I would love to visit Canada someday- even though I have never been there it is also somewhere I would love to move. I have heard such wonderful things about the country side and the people.
That looks awesome! I want to go to Canada, too!
cute.
How fun! Alber's been dying to go to Niagara falls. I think we'll have to make a trip up there sometime.
