"Goodbye Miss Sheree"

I graduated my last group of kiddos last Friday (May 21st) and if you ask Lee he'll say I've retired....... but without the benefits! Ha ha ha.... Throughout the past 6 years I have had my share of challenges, but this year I was blessed with some of the greatest group of kids. They were so loving, eager to learn, hilarious and of course CUTE! They were always so intrigued with my growing belly and reminded me on a daily basis that I was "getting bigger." I'm sad they don't get to meet little William. Maybe we'll see them around Target or Walmart every once in a while. :) Their parents were fantastic too. I made new friendships and a few of them I want to adopt into my family.

I did pretty good during Graduation until we sang the "Goodbye Song." Just like every day in class we sang, "Our work is done it's time to go, look both ways to cross the road. Red is for stop, green is for go, yellow's for caution so slow, so slow." And out of routine all 36 of my kids waved and said, "Goodbye Miss Sheree!" And that would be when I lost it. But, I didn't have time to cry, I had more work to do. So I sucked up my tears and gathered the kids to the wall for a giant group picture with the paparazzi, I mean the parents and I was happy again. I received lots of love from my hug-able little ones and then they were gone, and so was I. Walking out of the building was weird, I was trying to take it all in one last time. I think come September when I would normally be going back to school is when it will feel really weird. Below are a few pictures that I have collected from parents throughout the years. I told you they were cute kids!

Thanks for almost bringing me to tears again! I had to take a second look at that picture of you and Madelyn! I can't believe she will be starting 4th grade in the Fall! Thank you again for the influence you have been on all of my children!

Now your little boy will be able to benefit from all of your experience. But instead of being know as Miss Sheree you will be known as Mom. It is the best!!
