Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays-
ALL THAT FOOD MAKES ME HAPPY!
Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade gets me giddy today just like when I was a child and I still can't wait to see Santa and his reindeer who bring the parade to a close. The dog show afterwards is so fun! I love to see all them dogs strut their stuff. Even though I have only done Black Friday once in my life, I still love going through the endless adds all day long. This year Lee was all over it! He headed out around 6 a.m. and brought home some fun toys for all three of us. So I wrapped them and put them under the tree. I think it takes the fun out of it for Lee on Christmas morning, but he's excited for the fun toys he's getting/already has. Next year, I told him I'm going out to get the goods. We'll see if that changes come next Thanksgiving.
We started out the morning by goobering all over William. It's fun! I think I was a little more excited than anyone about the fact that it was William's first Thanksgiving. We then went into the Living room and FROZE OUR LITTLE TOOSHIES OFF!!!! It was the 2nd coldest Thanksgiving Day in Las Vegas on record. I don't want to think about THE coldest day. I hate being cold! So does William-he has my big eyes, but when he's cold, his eyes get even bigger! See. Told ya.

After we bundled ourselves up, we watched, yep, you guessed it,
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!!

We had our first dinner with my Dad's side of the family at 2 p.m. at my Uncle Dick and Aunt Kristi's house. It was nice to chit chat with a few members of the family, but I hate how when we always get together, everyone separates and socializes with their individual families. At every family function, I hope this will change- it hasn't but I think everyone is getting a little better at it.

Here is William with my Dad and his Dad - my Grandpa Huntsman.

Later that day my family decided to get together for another dinner at 6:30 p.m. Too much Thanksgiving food = Nasty food!!! I am not a fan of two Thanksgivings in one day.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!
This year, I am thankful for so many things. This has not been the easiest year for us, with the arrival of William, a lot of our "norm" changed and it has been tuff to accept our "new norm". With me quitting my pre-school job, we took a big cut in our income. But Lee wakes up every morning with a smile on his face, kisses both William and I goodbye and heads to work. He works so hard so I can stay home with William. For that, I am so thankful! I am very thankful for our sweet, sweet William and for the joy he brings to us. I am thankful for our health, our home, our vehicles to get us around, my photography business that is booming, good friends, my amazing family, the gospel, my Savior, prayer and much, much more.

He's way adorable. I agree that 2 Thanksgivings is a little much. I did that on my mission one year. Nice pictures and I'm glad your photography business is doing well... Question for you. What kind of camera do you have? I just bought my first SLR camera and way excited to learn the ropes.
