We sent out our Christmas Cards to family and received many in return. We are sad that we couldn't send one to everyone we love, but we have a VERY large family and postage adds up fast. We went to lots of Christmas parties too. At one, William got to make his first ornament. Well, Mommy and her friend did most of the work, but it was Williams first art project. It is a white hand print made into 5 little snowmen. It's adorable! Thanks again Rhonda! We also had the Huntsman annual Candy Bar Bingo game. It gets more fun every year with bigger and better goodies. This years big ticket items were a bag of Beef Jerky, an 8 pack of Gatorade and a box full of assorted candy bars.

We also took one night to go look at Christmas lights. There are two houses near us that were really decorated nice with lots of lights and music playing. Of course the night we decided to go out, it was raining so one of the houses wasn't turned on and all the blow ups were deflated. :/ We than went to the Bellagio to check out the conservatory. It had been a long time since I had been there and I don't plan on going back anytime soon. We couldn't find anywhere to park so we parked at Bally's and walked over to see the decorations. There were people everywhere!!!!! This is why locals don't care about the strip.... we think it's a little overrated. Overall it was pretty and William thought the lights were pretty neat.
On Christmas Eve, we had Lee's boss and friend Barry over for a traditional Christmas Eve Dinner. We made homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, a veggie tray and our first ever Turkey. Lee did a great job on the turkey, and I made my first ever pumpkin pie. Paula Dean helped me make it a GREAT dessert!!! I've made two more since and Lee now wants me to buy cans of pumpkin by the case so we can have it all year long! :)
I have carried on the tradition of opening Christmas pajama's on Christmas Eve too. I found the cutest C.H.E.A.P. Christmas fabric at JoAnn's and made William some pajama pants out of it. They said, "Naughty or Nice?" all over them and it cost me a grand total of $1.24. YAY!!! I love good deals!
We than read The Christmas Story and then we read the REAL Christmas Story out of Luke 2, then put the little guy to bed while Lee and I stayed up to watch It's a Wonderful Life.
On Christmas morning we started with our stockings. William got a sippy cup and loved chewing on it. We are having a hard time getting him to drink out of it though. :/ I got a Bluetooth, and Lee got a Bluetooth, socks, and Andy's Mints.
We than moved onto the presents. William got toys from both sets of Grandparents, toys from Mom and Dad as well as books and lots of clothes. William loved all of the excitement of the morning but was more intrigued by all the wrapping paper. I got a new wide angle lens, a big top cake pan and new rugs for our bathroom. Lee got LOTS of fun tools, (thank you Black Friday) clothes, and a lot of yummy treats. Our family gifts consisted of gift cards and a travel DVD player. We than had our Christmas breakfast and a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Huntsman, than made some phone calls to Lee's side of the family. It was good to talk to everyone back east since we don't get to see them very often.
We listened to Christmas music all day and just enjoyed the day with our cute little family. That night William had one more gift to Mom and Dad up his sleeve. He started sitting up all by himself! He is getting so big and learning new things all the time, we can't believe how fast he is growing right before our eyes. It was a great Christmas and one that we will never forget.

We got a DVD player for the car-- oh my goodness, it was a lifesaver on the trips to CA last year. I figured we'd hold off till Oliver went forward facing, but I'm glad we didn't wait! :D That and the secret to Bellagio at Christmas is going during the day, and either go the first week of December or after Christmas. haha. We go down there all the time, so we've perfected the art of the Bellagio. lol.
