My oh my what a WONDERFUL day!

It was the MOST wonderful day indeed. Well, I guess it would have been better if Daddy could have come too. Last week my sister Jennie and her husband were going to Disneyland for Spring Break. My whole body was filled with jealousy since I haven't been since Lee and I were engaged and I so badly wanted to take William to the happiest place on earth. A few days before Spring Break arrived my
brother-in-law Jon was sent to Disneyland because his company is doing a job on one of the hotels there, so my sister Stephanie was going to pack the kids up and tag along. With 4 kids and 2 of them being autistic, she was going to need some help, so she talked my Mom into going since she was already going to be in LA with my little brother and little sister for a Braves vs. Dodgers game.
You can imagine how small I felt at this point.
Well, on Saturday the 16th of April, my mom called me to invite William and I to come along since she had 2 more seats in the car. I immediately was filled with excitement, I not only wanted to go to Disneyland, but I needed to get out of the house. And then I remembered that William hadn't been feeling well the last couple of days, I told her I would let her know in the morning since they were leaving at noon after church.
William seemed to be getting better and being more happy so I left him with Lee while I went on a photo shoot. When I got home, William was back to the non-stop crying!! My trip wasn't looking good. We put him to bed at 8 p.m. and LITERALLY, every 5 min. until morning he was up crying.
TEETHING HOW I HATE YOU!!
I called my Mom to tell her we wouldn't be going because William was teething and hurting and we were all sleep deprived. We got some orajel on his gums and some ibuprofen in him and he started to feel a little better. At a quarter to noon I called my Mom, she hadn't left yet!! I was actually hesitant to go but my Mom convinced me that it would be good for both of us to get out of the house and that William would be fine, so Lee and I ran around the house like 2 crazy people packing Williams and my bags in 1 hour. I still don't know how we did it, we actually were sitting around waiting for my Mom to come.
The traffic was BEYOND horrible taking us 7 hours to get to our hotel. Then it was time for bed. William went down without a fight, he was SO TIRED from the night before and he slept until I woke him up in the morning.

We walked across the street and the music joyfully rang in my ears. We met up with my 2 sisters and their families and we all had the best day together! William never cried once. Disneyland is a healer to teething. I guess we'll just have to go back every time a new tooth come in. :) William was so occupied by his cousins and all the fun stuff to see around him. He loved the rides and fell asleep on "It's a Small World" and "Pirates of the Caribbean". He fell asleep around 8 and slept through "Fantasmic" and the firework show. On our way out of the park he started to wake up so I picked him up and cuddled him and he quickly went back to sleep. We walked to the Hotel and as soon as we got to the door, he woke up. No worried though, an hour later he was down for the night.

The next day we traveled to LA, went to downtown Hollywood, EWWWW! and to the beach. It was such a fun trip! I am hoping to go back to Disneyland later in the year when more family members are planning on going too. Not sure if Lee will be able to join us again, but he's okay with that. He didn't grow up with Disneyland like I did so he's not crazy about it. Thanks Mom for allowing us to come with you, it was SO MUCH FUN!!! :)

Jeremy is the same way about Disneyland as Lee is. My family goes every year, but he's fine with going every 3 or 4 years... You & I should take the kids and hit the road!
