Trying out our green thumbs.

We knew when we moved into our new house last October that we would want to put in a garden. So Lee got the wood and soil and built us a modest garden bed and shortly after St. Patrick's Day we put the onion seeds, lettuce seeds, carrot seeds, tomato plants and raspberry plants into the ground. I have loved watering the garden and watching our little plants grow. We didn't quite make our bed deep enough, so our carrots are on the small side but we just juice them anyway. We have so many tomatoes coming in that I think I will be making a lot of Salsa this summer, something I am totally okay with. William likes to be outside too so whenever one of us goes out to water we have to take him too. William had his first taste of dirt one afternoon while we were watering, he didn't seem to mind to much since he continues to try to go back for more.
