Last Saturday, I had a family photo shoot with our friends from our last ward, the Stevensons. They are super cool and their babies are so cute! I talked Lee into coming with me so that William could get out of the house and wander around a little bit. We went to Calico Basin and it was about 10 degrees cooler than here in the valley. You might be thinking, 10 degrees? Bit whip! But seriously, when it's 102 degrees and 20% humidity, that 10 degrees make a HUGE difference!!

After we were done, Kassie and Joseph mentioned they were going to head up the road a couple miles to Bonnie Springs to see the animals. We had never been before so we decided to tag along. William LOVED seeing all the animals-he was in amazement and didn't want to leave. I'm so happy we got to spend the afternoon with some friends and as a family having fun.
