Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

My favorite Christmas movie (10 points to the person who can name it) asks it best; "What is Christmas with no snow?"

I was so incredibly excited when the Heavens opened today. The snow unfortunately didn't stick, but it was still loads of fun to watch the large flurries fall from the sky! I was at work with my darling 4 year olds. A perfect learning opportunity! I took them out in it because most of these kids have never seen snow. We caught it on our tongues, splashed in the water puddles, and laughed when it was in someones hair. For about 5 hours today I myself acted like I was 4 years old too. To their parents, I'm sorry if your kids are sick tonight from playing with Miss Sheree outside in 44 degree weather, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a "snow day".

I thought a few times how badly I wanted to be at home on a day like this and not at work. Laying in front of my fake fireplace, (Hey, it's a fireplace) a mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream, and a snugly blanket. But when I think of how the day played out, I'm glad I was there! I had a whole lot of fun with my kiddos and the snow!
