For his first Easter.

Saturday was such a busy day that we almost forgot to dye eggs. So at 8 p.m. that night we got the eggs boiled and started coloring the eggs. Once we had the dye ready, we put them in a line and help William over the colors. I asked him which color he wanted to dye his first Easter egg and he leaned his head towards the orange bowl nearly tipping it over. I asked him again and he did the same thing, so ORANGE it was. William was very interested in watching his egg turn colors but was more interested in pulling the bowls towards him, so Daddy had to hold his hands, then he was off to bed.

The Easter Bunny quickly made his way to our house leaving the boys of the house with lots of goodies. William's basket was filled with a stuffed chick, books, socks, and bubbles. William loves bubbles!! When William woke up Sunday morning he got to check out what the Easter Bunny left him in his basket. He thought it was pretty cool to empty out the basket, look at what he was holding and then throw it off to the side in search for something better. He is such a silly kid.

Not long after that, it was time to get ready for church. William wore a cute outfit that his Aunt Melissa gave to him when he was just one month old. I had been saving it for his Easter outfit all this time and he looked like quite the preppy little stud.

Later that night we had a traditional Easter dinner with just the three of us. We are thankful for this time of year when we can reflect on the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ and his eternal sacrifices for us. I know that Christ lives, and because of the atonement he has made it possible for my family and I to return to live with our Heavenly Father again someday.
