Happy 1st Birthday William

"WOW! 1 year already!! This was the fastest, hardest, most exciting and most memorable year of my life, and it's all because you William. Your Dad and I tried for a long time to get you here in our family, but we had to be patient for a while. Then one year ago today, the doctor placed you in my arms and I have never fallen in love with someone so fast. I knew from that moment that you and I were going to be great friends. You and I have a special bond, one that I pray is never broken. My heart melts when you run to me and give me a hug- and in return I smother your face with kisses. I can't give you enough smooches in one day. You have been such a blessing to our home and lives and we love you SO MUCH!!! We have loved watching you grow into the little man that you are today. You are smart, funny, energetic, loud and very loving. You have the sweetest smile, beautiful big brown eyes and the best looking hair on the block. You are one cool kid, and you are loved by so many people around you. Mommy and Daddy hope you have a very happy birthday Bubs. We love you!"

• 21.5 lbs.
• 30 in. tall.
  
• Drinks whole milk 3 -4 times a day.
• Is broken from the bottle and loves his sippy cups.
• Likes to lay on his back in the tub. He kicks his legs, waves his arms and laughs and squils! It is the funniest thing!!
  
• Is currently learning how to drink from a straw.
• The day before his birthday, he decided textured food wasn't that bad. HALLELUJAH!!
• If he gets to bed late, he wakes up earlier in the morning..... hmmm..... doesn't he have that in reverse?
• Knows who Tigger is and likes to give him hugs.
• Favorite toy is his monkey and loves toys that sing.
• Carries the Elk blanket Grandpa Huntsman gave him all over the house.
• Constantly gets into drawers and gets mad when he realizes that we emptied them.
• Runs to Mommy and Daddy when we come home.
• Say's "Dom" for dog and "Yea".
• Is in size 3 diapers.
• Brings you a book when he wants to be read to and he likes to turn the pages.
• Favorite snack is Cheese Puffs.
• Does some of the motions to songs like, "... washed the spider out!" and "...popcorn popping on the apricot tree."
• Waves "Hi" and "Goodbye" on demand.
• Favorite movie is "Disney's Sing-Along-Songs: The Bare Necessities."
• Favorite game to play is Hide and Go Seek with Mom and Dad.
• Finger painted for the first time on his birthday.
