We got word this week that Lee would be flying to New Mexico on his birthday for some more training in his new Job with NS Tech. I was super bummed out, who want to loose their husband on his birthday? For sure not me! So Friday, William and I, well, I worked on cleaning the house and making a birthday cake. Lee got to pick out his birthday dinner and he chose Applebee's Carside to Go. So we brought it home, ate, Lee opened his presents and then we had cake and ice-cream.
When this morning rolled around, Lee started packing and I dealt with a very cranky teething baby. MOLARS SUCK!!! That afternoon we headed to the airport to drop Lee off. I hate doing this, it makes me cry every time. This time William joined me. He LOVES his Daddy and is becoming his little side kick, I love watching their relationship bloom. So when Lee opened up Williams door to say goodbye and to give him a kiss, William went nuts and starting screaming/crying throwing this book and cup on the seat. This just got me going even more, it's sad enough to say goodbye to your husband for a week, but when your son is so upset too, it just makes it harder to cope with. Thank goodness for snacks to help calm him down.
