It's CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas started on Christmas Eve at my parents house for dinner and our gift exchange. It was great being with family and being able to skype with my brother Steven who is in Hawaii for work at the time. Afterwards, we came home and William got to open his Christmas pj's, he looks so cute in them! Then we read Luke 2 and Twas the Night Before Christmas, then it was off to bed for Mr. Cranky Pants while Lee and I prepared the way for Santa. Mr. Claus brought William a Push Bubble Mower and a Potty.

Lee's favorite movie of all time happens to be It's a Wonderful Life, and lucky us, NBC plays it every Christmas Eve. While we watched/listened to the movie, we played a couple L.O.N.G. games of Uno, while our ghetto neighbors serenaded us with their head pounding music........ yea. Good thing we were too busy having fun or the cops would have payed them a little visit.

Some of us didn't sleep so well that night due to all the excitement sure to be had the next morning, but needless to say, Christmas morning did finally arrive with lots of smiles. We started by having our annual Christmas breakfast and then we headed into the front room to open presents. William got a first hand look at what Santa had brought for him and he really likes his potty, not for going potty in but he likes it and LOVES the bubbles from his bubble mower.

Then it was Mommy's turn! Time to open that shiny little box. Even though I wanted a girl, I honestly would have been happy either way, but even still, my heart was pounding. I sliced open the packing tape and peaked inside. Inside I saw ONE very PINK Christmas bulb -"It's a GIRL!!" We are so excited to welcome a little girl into our family and I am more than excited to play dress up with my little girl. We are already starting to think about names, but Flick is a pretty hard name to match first names to, so we'll see how soon we actually decide on a name. We all enjoyed opening our fun presents that we had prepared for each other -We were all pretty surprised with the awesome gifts we had received.

Later in the afternoon we went to church and it was wonderful besides the temper tantrum "someone" decided to pull, and after that we came home to have a very yummy Christmas dinner. We were very blessed this past year and we are very grateful to our Heavenly Father for making it all happen for us. This indeed will be a Christmas to remember and cherish for a lifetime.

Yea, I broke our 4 qt crock pot and needed another. This is a combination of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. William is so uninterested in the potty! He would rather throw it across the room and stand in the middle of it. It will be a while for us!

Nice - I upgraded our 4qt to a 7qt. Now I can cook crock pot meals like a true Maxwell. Oliver goes on every once in awhile, but it's usually entertainment while I do my hair! =]
