Making Easter Memories

As a family, (as in my whole family) we purchased a Groupon to Sagebrush Ranch for an Easter Activity that included a petting zoo, a hayride and an Easter Egg hunt. We thought it sounded like a blast and it seemed like a good deal, so we were all pretty excited! We left with happy children but the adults were very disappointed. It was not worth the money, it was completely unorganized and the owners are IDIOTS!! We wont be waisting our time next year. The best part was the hayride. William loved seeing the horses and cows and pointing to the animals while he said their names. "Hoise = Horse and Cows = Cows." He is a cutie head

After naps, we went with my sister Stephanie's family and my brother Randy's family to to the Shark Reef. William learned to say "fish" and had the cutest little face the whole time. He loved it!

Saturday night we dyed our Easter eggs. This year, William chose PINK for his first egg. He had a pretty fun time "throwing" the eggs into the color cups. Yes, throwing.

The Easter Bunny hooked us all up this year. I got Leap Year (such a cute movie) on Blue-Ray. Lee got Three Amigos on Blu-Ray, Reeses Eggs and Peanut Butter M&M's. Lee has had none, while I have enjoyed half of his bag already. :) William got bouncy balls, number magnets that are enjoying their new home under the fridge, a CARS pez, Disney stamps and a Little People car.

Good work Easter Bunny!

The next morning, William was pretty excited to see his goodies and had fun collecting plastic Easter eggs with Daddy. They were filled with stickers that he loves to put on paper for his daily art projects.

We have 9AM church, so we quickly got ourselves all dolled up in our Easter gear and took a picture outside our front door. We set the camera up on the tripod and I held the remote. We told William to look at the tree. This is the face he gave us in all the photos. We have a pretty sad looking tree, but I guess to William it looks pretty funny. Thank you tree!

That night we had Easter dinner at my parents house. It was a delicous spread! After dinner 140 candy filled plastic eggs were hidden in the backyard and the kids went to town. William had quite the accident earlier, so he went hunting in style. Not everyone can look that good with no pants on!

We are thankful for the Easter season to not only have fun and make memories as a family, but to also reflect on our Savior. He suffered and dyed for us and knows exactly what we are going through everyday. We knows who we are, what we desire and wants us to be happy. I know that he lives and loves me and my family. I am so thankful for him and our loving Heavenly Father.

Happy Easter!
